Avita is an actor based in London and works in theatre, film, television, voice over and audiobook narration.

Originally from East London, her first acting job was on the BBC Two Learning Zone series, L8r. After completing a Biology Degree at Queen Mary University, Avita decided to pursue acting full time and joined the Young Actors’ Company at Theatre Royal Stratford East. She then went on to train at Drama Studio London and since graduating has performed on stage in new plays, musicals, classical plays and in site specific, immersive and devised theatre.

On screen, she has appeared in the TV soap Emmerdale, in the Bollywood feature film London, Paris, New York, and played the lead in the musical short film Miser’s Dream due for completion in Spring 2018.

She has narrated numerous audiobooks for Audible and the RNIB Talking Book Library.

Avita also works for the charity InterAct Stroke Support, reading at Homerton and Edgware Hospitals.
